About Me

I didn't start out as a writer. I spent years as a dentist in Jeddah, a flight attendant crossing borders for Saudi Arabian Airlines, and later a patient advocate helping people navigate healthcare in a language and country that wasn't their own. Somewhere in all of that, I realized the stories I kept noticing — the small human moments in waiting rooms, airports, and unfamiliar cities — were the thing I actually wanted to spend my life writing down.

I write essays and stories about identity, belonging, and what it means to keep choosing yourself in new places. I'm currently based in Dubai, working on my first book, and writing weekly on Substack.

The only impossible journey is the one you never begin. – Tony Robbins

Please note that on this site, the stories, and characters are all a work of fiction. Any resemblance with a real character is not intended. All these stories and characters are my imagination. Thank you.
