Sunset and Lion

The sun is setting by the beach where she stands by the shore. She has been here before but she can’t quite remember. Slowly she breathes in the salty air of the sea, it feels so refreshing. The wind is calm and it gives such warmth, as if it kisses her skin gently, blowing her hair as if a lover is caressing it affectionately. She closes her eyes as she feels the wind blow on her neck and on her face. She feels so alive. Her feet are wet, but the water is somewhat warm. Everything at this moment is just serene. All she can hear was the waves crashing on the shore and she feels those by her feet too. Looking up at the sky, the colors are just magnificent as the colors of yellow, orange, red, purple, gold, white, and silver are all bursting around the setting sun. If one does not believe in a higher power, seeing this sunset will make you believe. The feeling of watching this setting sun sends chills back down her spine, through her bone. With it, she feels her heart, beating steadily in pure amazement. She can’t help but smile at the view, calm, and yet she feels empowered. Slowly, she starts to remember that she saw this view in her dreams before, she knows it because she felt this feeling already. Deja vu, as they say. It must be one of her dreams. As she tries to focus on her dream, she remembers that there was a beautiful and magnificent lion standing beside her, such a powerful creature! She did not understand what it meant at that time, but as she stares at the purple sunset, she now knows what it means. It must mean that she is powerful and there is so much in her that she can’t see or know and still needs to find out, like the feeling of power and being in control of the things she wants to believe in and her decisions in life. She decides what to believe and what not to believe. She realizes that she lives in her own time, her own story, and she decides who will be there. It’s all in her power. And she feels this power right through her heart, where she knows her center is, where her core is. Her core is pure hope, light, and love. This is what she resonates with, what she reflects. And this connection between her and the setting sun along with its glorious colors only confirms it all. The universe agrees and is always by her side. She whispers to herself; she is ready dear universe, ready to receive the blessings in store for her. Nothing can stop her. She can make anything happen as long as she believes and does what she can to make her dreams come true. Nothing and no one can tell her otherwise. This is what the lion symbolizes in her dreams, her powers from within. The setting sun symbolizes a new chapter that is about to begin as this chapter finishes with a blast. She knows this in her heart for everything is happening for a reason. Everything is happening in its own time. She has her own time, and this is it. Everything is provided for; she just needs to acknowledge that and be grateful for that. Everything is alive and she can feel that. Everything is connected and she feels this connection. She feels. She is alive now more than ever.
